Electric Guitars

Electric guitars are some of the most popular instruments. Quite simple in design, easy for beginner musicians to learn, versatile, yet able to vary in sound, electric guitars will be heard in almost every modern music ensemble. They are used by rock, pop and blues groups, jazz musicians, as well as soloists. Thanks to the variety of solutions used in electric guitars, individual models produce sounds that are delicate and very melodious, or, on the contrary, sharp and give a distinctive sound to songs kept in heavy metal style.

Electric guitars for beginners and intermediate musicians

We offer electric guitars for beginners and intermediate lovers of the instrument. These are primarily the most versatile ST-style electric guitars. Stratocaster are chosen by the world's best guitarists – including Jimi Hendrix and Eric Clapton. The heart of the electric guitar is the pickup – depending on the model, a variety of pickup sets are used. It is primarily due to the variable arrangements of pickups that we get such different sounds, although potentiometers are also responsible for the volume and tone of the sound, as well as the amplifier from which the instrument sound is coming.

It is also interesting to note that the sound of an electric guitar also depends largely on the shape of the instrument. The first electric guitar, which used a pickup designed in 1935, had a box similar in shape to string instruments. The creator of this guitar, Gibson, got proposal to prepare a design without a resonant box, which was supposed to eliminate any unwanted vibration or feedback. Gibson's designers, however, were instructed to focus on improving the first ES-150 electric guitar. In 1949, Leo Fender built the first electric guitar without a resonant box, and it was only this move that prompted Gibson to enlist the help of Les Paul, who had earlier proposed the same solution. The story convinced electric guitar designers that it is not only the pickups that affect the sound of the instrument – the shape of the electric guitar plays quite a role. Thanks to it, over the years further possibilities of this instrument were discovered, so that today we can enjoy the most diverse sounds of the electric guitar.
